A pedestrian was severely injured Thursday evening just after 5:30 on Governor Printz Boulevard near Downing Drive in Wilmington. Initial reports indicated that a pedestrian may have been struck by more than one vehicle at the scene.
Emergency responders arriving at the accident found the victim, described as a woman in her 40s severely injured. The woman was transported to Christiana Hospital in critical condition at the time of transport.
Authorities have not released further details.
