Delaware State Police Investigating Serious Motorcycle Crash Saturday

Delaware State Police are investigating a serious motorcycle crash that occurred Saturday afternoon in Wilmington.

At approximately 3:00 p.m. on April 19, 2025, New Castle County Paramedics and the Elsmere Fire Company were dispatched to the intersection of Center Road and Lancaster Pike for reports of a single-vehicle motorcycle collision. Upon arrival, emergency responders located one male rider suffering from serious injuries.

Paramedics provided advanced life support care to an approximately 50-year-old man who sustained a head injury and suspected internal injuries. The patient was transported in serious condition to Christiana Hospital in Stanton by an ambulance from the Elsmere Fire Company.

Personnel from the Cranston Heights Fire Company also responded to assist at the scene. The Delaware State Police are conducting the investigation.
