LINCOLN, DE – Delaware State Police have arrested 21-year-old Deonte King of Lincoln in connection with a shooting that occurred last month near the Slaughter Beach Memorial Volunteer Fire Company.

The incident took place on the evening of June 12, 2025, at approximately 7:14 p.m., when troopers responded to the public access area near 359 Bay Avenue in Milford for reports of gunfire. According to the investigation, a 32-year-old Dover man was attending a party at the pavilion behind the fire company when multiple masked suspects arrived and opened fire on the crowd.
