Pair 14,18 Arrested in Connection with Robbery

Wilmington Police have arrested two individuals in connection with a robbery that occurred on July 23 in the 900 block of Maryland Avenue.

According to investigators, officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12:31 p.m. in response to a reported robbery. Through investigative efforts, authorities identified two suspects: a 14-year-old male and 18-year-old Ahmiere Righter police said.

The juvenile suspect was located and taken into custody later that day. He has been charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy. Following his arraignment in New Castle County Family Court, he was committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $21,000 cash-only bail.

Righter was apprehended on July 29. He has been charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $62,000 cash-only bail.

Authorities did not release details surrounding the robbery.
