Teen Shot Over The Weekend Has Died

Wilmington Police have confirmed that the 17-year-old male shot in the early morning hours of August 2 has died from his injuries.

The shooting occurred at approximately 2:08 a.m. in the 400 block of North Franklin Street. Officers responding to the scene found Amir Clark suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation into this incident remains ongoing. Authorities have not released details regarding possible suspects or a motive at this time.
