The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred last night in Bear.
On August 4, 2025, at approximately 7:57 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a robbery that occurred earlier in the parking lot of the Mexico Grocery, located at 626 Pulaski Highway.
Troopers said that two men confronted a 43-year-old man in the parking lot about money they were owed. One of the suspects punched the man and stole his cell phone, while the second suspect displayed a handgun police said. Both suspects then fled in an unknown direction. The victim sustained minor injuries.
The suspects are described as two Hispanic males in their 40s or 50s.
