EDGEMOOR, Del. — Emergency crews were dispatched to Fox Point State Park at approximately 7:30 a.m. Thursday after reports of a body in the Delaware River.
Responding units confirmed the discovery upon arrival. Marine units were deployed to assist with the recovery effort, and the body was successfully removed from the water a short time later.
The investigation is ongoing.
