According to the Delaware State Police, the collision happened at approximately 7:20 a.m. when a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling eastbound on Old Furnace Road west of Rementer Road. A Toyota Sienna and a Nissan Rogue were traveling westbound in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Toyota, a 50-year-old Georgetown woman, was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The driver of the Nissan, a 33-year-old Seaford man, suffered serious injuries and was flown to an area hospital by the Delaware State Police Aviation Section.
