Man Sexually Assaulted At Knife-Point In Dover

Delaware State Police are investigating an armed sexual assault reported Tuesday morning at a construction site in Dover.

Troopers responded to a construction site on Lacey Lane in the Nobles Pond community at approximately 9:50 a.m. on August 18, 2026.

Investigators learned that at approximately 8:00 a.m., an unknown masked man approached a male victim at the construction site. Police said the suspect threatened the victim with a knife and sexually assaulted him before fleeing toward a wooded area near Pearsons Corner Road and Seven Hickories Road.

Troopers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Police described the suspect as a white male who was last seen wearing a black mask, tan or khaki pants, a black shirt and gloves. He was armed with a knife.
