Hospital Arrival Leads To Wilmington Police Investigation

Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that left a 30-year-old man injured in the city.

Police said the shooting occurred at approximately 6:25 p.m. in the 100 block of South Franklin Street.

The victim arrived at an area hospital with a gunshot wound and was reported to be in stable condition.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. Police have not released information about a possible suspect.
