Man Shot In The Butt In Smyrna


Smyrna – A 67-year-old man was shot in the buttocks on Lincoln Street late Thursday night, resulting in non-life threatening injuries. On May 11, 2017 at approximately. 10 p.m., Smyrna Police responded to the unit block of Lincoln Street for a report of a shooting, according to authorities.

Officials said the investigation revealed that a group of people standing near a car were shot at by unknown suspect(s). A 67-year-old male was transported to Kent General Hospital where he was treated and released. A parked car suffered damage during the incident.
