Hockessin Bank Robbed In Plain Sight

citizens-bank-robbery-suspect-2Hoccitizens-bank-robbery-suspect-1kessin, DE Delaware State Troopers are investigating a bank robbery that occured on Friday, August 19, 2016, at approximately 5:53 p.m. Police said that a man robbed the Citizen’s Bank located inside the Acme Supermarket at 128 Lantana Drive, Hockessin (Lantana Shopping Center).

The suspect presented a demand note to the teller, implied that he was armed, and demanded money from the cash drawer, according to police.  The bank teller complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an
undisclosed amount of money
to him. The suspect then fled the bank and was last observed fleeing on foot in a northerly direction in the shopping center parking lot.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6’00 to 6’02” tall, weighs 160-180 lbs, 25-35 years old, wearing a long sleeve gray, white and black plaid shirt.
