Bear – New Castle County Police are actively investigating a shooting that left one man injured in the community of Garwood Estates.
Police said that on Sunday, December, 4, 2016 at about 10:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Garwood Drive for a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 25-year-old man suffering an apparent gunshot wound. The man was transported to an area hospital by ambulance where he is listed in stable condition, according to police
Detectives responded to the scene and have assumed the investigation.
