Police: Stalking Weapons Arrest

Elsmere  – On Thursday, November 17, 2016 Elsmere Police Officers were approached by a town resident who asked to be escorted to his residence located in the 2700 block of Eastwood Drive in Elsmere, because of recent threats made against him as a result of a relationship he was currently having with a mutual person, according to police.

Upon arriving at the residence the Elsmere Police located 44 year old Brian Glass from the 800
Block of Parkside Blvd Claymont DE in the rear of the residence, said police. Mr. Glass was dressed in all black and armed with a 9MM handgun, an ASP baton, two (2) pairs of brass knuckles, five (5) knives, tactical gloves, tactical flashlights, and binoculars, according to authorities.
Mr. Glass was taken into custody without incident and his vehicle was located nearby. Inside the vehicle officers were able to observe an open book bag which contained rope and what appeared to be a black handgun, said police.

Elsmere police said that a search warrant was executed on the vehicle and located inside was a stun gun, a samurai sword, two (2) pellet/air soft guns, duct tape, rope, several more flash lights and knives along with binoculars and more rounds of ammunition.

Mr. Glass was charged with Stalking while in Possession of a Deadly Weapon, Terroristic Threatening, Loitering (Night Prowling), Criminal Trespass 3rd, Degree, Possession of a Weapon During the Commission o f a Felony x 6, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon x 6. Mr. Glass was arraigned on his charges and his bail was set at $79,002 secured. Mr. Glass was turned over to the Department of Corrections in lieu of bail.
