Driver Suffers Medical Emergency, Crashes Into House

Newark – On Thursday, February 23, 2017 at approximately 3:02 p.m. the Newark Police responded to the 200 block of Bent Lane for a report that a vehicle struck a residence, according to Sergeant Gerald J. Bryda.

Bryda said that officers arrived on scene and learned that IMG_20170223_155632689[1]a 26-year-old male operator suffered a medical emergency causing the collision. A child passenger was also in the vehicle, according to Bryda.

Both occupants of vehicle were transported to nearby hospitals for evaluation of possible minor injuries. Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder is on scene as well as the Newark Building Department.
