McDUI For Man Passed Out In Restaurant Drive Thru

Dover – The Dover Police Department arrested a 21-year-old man for a third offense DUI (felony level) on Saturday, March 18th, 2017 at 12:50AM, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said officers responded to McDonald’s at 915 S. DuPont Highway in Dover when they received a call about a driver passed out in the drive-thru lane. Officers contacted Octavio Lopez-Hernandez and determined he was intoxicated and took him into custody without incident, said Hoffman.

Lopez-Hernandez was committed to JTVCC in default of a $5,000 cash bond.
