Two Steal Shopping Carts Full Of TVs From Newark Kmart

Newark – On Saturday March 11, 2017 the Newark Police responded to the K-Mart in College Square Shopping Center for a report that two male suspect’s shoplifted multiple televisions from the store, according to Newark Police Spokesman Sergeant Gerald J. Bryda.

Bryda said that an employee of the store noticed the two suspects run out of the store pushing shopping carts containing multiple televisions. The employee attempted to stop them, but was unsuccessful. Five televisions and one sound bar were taken with a total value of $1,349.94, according to Bryda. The suspects fled in an unknown SUV style vehicle.

The suspects were described as follows:
Suspect 1 – unknown race male, wearing a dark jacket, dark jeans and a light colored ball cap.
Suspect 2 – black male, facial hair, wearing a black hat, light colored sweatshirt, dark pants and light colored boots.
