Old Baltimore Pike Motorcycle Crash Leaves One In Critical

 

Newark – Just before 8:00 p.m. at approximately 7:50 last night, Tuesday April 11, 2017,  New Castle County Paramedics and Christiana Fire Company were dispatched to the intersection of South Old Baltimore Pike and Christiana Farms Place for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne T. Russell.

Russel said upon arrival, County Paramedics found the motorcyclist, the patient, a 47-year-old male in care of emergency medical technicians (EMT’s) from Christiana Fire Company.

The patient suffered injuries to his neck, wrist and leg. The patient was transferred to Christiana Hospital via Christiana Fire Company ambulance accompanied by County Paramedics. The patient was in critical condition at the time of transport.
