Troopers Are Investigating The Death Of A 16-Month-Old-Boy

Dover – Detectives with Delaware State Police Major Crimes Unit are currently investigating the death of a 16-month-old male that occurred early Sunday morning, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Gary Fournier.

Fournier said around 3:46 a.m. Sunday April 30, 2017, troopers were dispatched to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital in Dover after a 16-month-old male was brought in by his parents unresponsive.

Lifesaving measures were taken to revive the young child, but he was eventually pronounced dead at 3:54 a.m. The child was turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
