I-95 Crash Sends Two Off The Road, Slows Traffic

Newark – Just after 6:00 p.m. this evening Christiana Fire Company, along with Aetna Hose Hook and Ladder’s Quint 7 and ambulance crews responded to an accident on I-95 just north of Route 896 (South College Avenue)

Arriving crews found two vehicles that have left the roadway. A small Volkswagen having veered into a culvert before striking a fence and a pick-up truck that was able to come to a controlled stop.

A patient from the Volkswagen was treated by ambulance crews for unspecified injuries.
