Milford – On Sunday July 16, 2017 Milford Police (MPD) arrested Jill R. Griffith, 48 of Milford, after a warrant was obtained following an investigation into an abandoned child report, according to MPD Spokesman Sgt. Robert Masten.

Masten said On July 13, 2017 at approximately 7:05 pm, officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the 900 block of North DuPont Boulevard (US Rt 113) to a report of a child who had been sitting near a business for an extended period of time.

Upon arrival the officers located a 14-year-old male who stated he had been left there by his mother and he was waiting for her return, according to Masten. Further investigation determined the child had a medical condition that appeared to have gone untreated, added Masten.
