RV Fire Causes $125,000 In Damages Near Seaford

Rhodesdale, MD. – Yesterday afternoon, Sunday July 9, 2017, at approximately 3:06 p.m. fire crews from the Eldorado Brookview Fire Company responded to the 5900 block of Allen Road in Rhodesdale, Maryland (less than a mile from the Delaware State Line, near Seaford) for reports of an RV on fire.

Arriving fire crews found a 2003 Winnebago Adventurer RV on fire. Forty firefighters were eventually able to bring the two alarm blaze under control after about an hour. Officials with the Lower Eastern Region Office of the State Fire Marshal said that the estimated loss was $45,000 for the RV.

The fire also extended into the family home causing an additional $80,000.00 to the structure, according to the Fire Marshal.

The American Red Cross is assisting the family.
