Lights Out In Hockessin This Morning, Troopers Respond

Hockessin –  Early this morning Delaware State Police were dispatched to the intersections of Lancaster Pike and Valley Road as well as Lancaster Pike and Yorklyn Road for reports of traffic signal outages.

Troopers responded to the scene to direct traffic while DelDOT crews worked to repair the lights.  It’s believed that a power surge hit the area an knocked out the power.

The outage has been resolved and the signals are back on.
