Route 1 NB Closed Due To Accident Near Smyrna

Update: – 1:25 PM The crash has cleared all lanes are now open

Smyrna –  Rescue crews  form the Townsend Fire Company, along with Delaware State Police have responded to Route 1 SB in the area of Paddock Road, just north of Smyrna, for reports of an auto accident.

Both lanes are closed while crews work to treat the patients. No word on injuries.

Traffic getting by on the shoulder.
