Dover Kayaker Finds Body In Silver Lake

Dover – The Dover Police Department is conducting a death investigation after the body of a 39-year-old man was found in Silver Lake’s West Side (Shoreline closest to Silver Lake Blvd), Dover, on Tuesday afternoon, by a man who was kayaking on the lake, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said officers arrived to find Dover resident, Anthony McDonald, deceased just after 1:00 PM. There were no obvious signs of foul play and the cause of death will later be determined by the Delaware Division of Forensic Science (Medical Examiner’s Office), said Hoffman.
