Newark – Newark Police Department is investigating a theft from a vehicle that occurred on 11/26/17 at 4:44 a.m. in the 200 block of E. Cobblefield Court. The victim, a 36-year-old female resident, reported that an unknown suspect entered her vehicle, which was parked in the driveway, and removed items valued at approximately $200, according to police.
Officials said the vehicle is believed to have been unlocked at the time of the theft. The investigating officer reviewed video surveillance footage from the area and observed two suspects in the victim’s driveway. One suspect is wearing a large hooded sweatshirt, pants, and boots. The second suspect is wearing a hooded sweatshirt with the letters “XC” on the chest.
