Accident Shuts Down Two Lanes Of Route 13 In Wilmington Manor, Two To Hospital

Wilmington Manor – Just after 9:30 this morning rescue crews from the Wilmington Manor Fire Company, along with Delaware State Police responded to Route 13 near I-295 for reports of a vehicle accident with injuries.

Upon arrival, crews found three vehicles in the median with two patients complaining of unspecified injuries. As crews responded a DART bus driver pulled over to render assistance to those involved in the accident. The bus was not involved in the accident.

Two patients were transported to the hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Two lanes of Route 13 were blocked for approximately 30 minutes as crews worked to clear the accident.
