Multiple Vehicle Break-Ins In Hockessin, Pike Creek, Police Want To Talk To Driver Of This Truck


Pike Creek – – Delaware State Police are investigating multiple vehicle break-ins that took place in the Pike Creek Shopping Center yesterday afternoon, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Michael Austin.

Austin said the preliminary investigation has determined that between 12:00 p.m. and 1:05 p.m., on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, three vehicles had their windows smashed out and property stolen, as they were parked in the Pike Creek Shopping Center, located at 4746 Limestone Road, Wilmington.

On February 28, at approximately 1:20 p.m., New Castle County Police were dispatched to the Hockessin Athletic Club for reported thefts from Motor Vehicles. Police learned that two vehicles had their windows broken and items removed. Patrol officers were then dispatched to Paper Mill Park for the report of three thefts from motor vehicles. Two of the vehicles had damaged windows and one vehicle was unsecured. Various items were removed from all three vehicles.

State Police are investigating the Pike Creek incidents, while New Castle County Police are investigating the Hockessin-Area incidents

During the course of the investigation, police were able to locate surveillance photos of a possible suspect vehicle.
