Body Of Saint Joseph’s University Rugby Player Found In Bermuda

Bermuda – The body of the Saint Joseph’s University rugby player, that went missing yesterday, has been found, according to local police.

The Bermuda Police Service confirmed that they have found 19-year-old Mark Dombroski of Pennsylvania earlier today.

Dombroski’s body was found near Fort Prospect, which is located between Mary Victoria Road and Police Headquarters in Devonshire, police said.

The area has been cordoned off and the scene will be processed by officers from the Forensic Support Unit. An autopsy is expected to take place soon..

Bermuda – Officials in Bermuda are searching for a missing St. Joseph University student and Archmere Academy graduate.

Mark Dombroski, 19-year-old, of Media, Pennsylvania, was last seen around 1:00 a.m., on Sunday, March 18, 2018, according to a Facebook post on Archmere Academy’s page .

The post reads as follows:

We were informed on Sunday, March 18 that Mark Dombroski ’17 went missing in Bermuda during the early morning hours. Mark is visiting Bermuda on a Rugby Tour with St. Joseph’s University. The members of the Archmere Academy community extend hopeful thoughts and prayers to the Dombroski Family during this difficult time. We are grateful for the many gestures and offers of support from our Archmere families, the classmates and friends of Mark, and the independent and Catholic school communities in our area. Members of the Archmere community will gather at the end of the school day to pray for the Dombroski Family, as we journey together with them in the days ahead.

There will be a prayer service tonight at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Media, PA (30 East Franklin Street, Media, PA 19063) at 7:30 pm.
