Happening Now: Three Incidents Underway, Two Serious Motor Vehicle Crashes, House Fire

Incident 1

Wilmington – Crews are responding to the 1000 S. Heald Street for reports of vehicle crash with multiple patients trapped. Entrapment has been confirmed. Crews working to extricate patients. Trooper 4 en route.

Patient is being transported to Trooper 4’s LS (Landing Zone). Patient has been transported by air. Condition of the patient(s) is unknown at this time.

Update: 9:34 am Trooper 4 has landed at the trauma center with the patient.

Incident 2

Wilmington – The Wilmington Fire Department is report smoke showing in a row home in the 400 block of Van Buren. Search for occupants underway.

Update: Reports from the scene indicate that the firefighter has a hand injury and will be transported to Wilmington Hospital.

Command has called the scene under control. We will update this incident later today.

Incident 3

Newark – Motor vehicle crash in the 1000 block of Old Baltimore Pike. Atena Hose, Hook, and Ladder is responding.

Update: Traffic police have been called to the scene.
