Head-On Collision In New Castle Sends Multiple Patients To The Hospital

New Castle – Just before 5:45 this afternoon rescue crews from the Goodwill Fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics and New Castle City Police responded to Route 273 (Frenchtown Rd and Centerpoint Blvd ) for reports of vehicle accident with multiple patients.

Upon arrival, crews asked for a total of four ambulances to respond to the scene. At least one patient was trapped and had to be cut out their car by rescue crews.

The patient that was extricated from the car was transport in serious condition. It’s believed that the other three patients were all transported to the hospital. Injuries for those patients are not know at this time.
