Newark Police Need Your Help Identifying Shoplifting Suspect

Newark – On Thursday March 22, 2018, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Newark Police Department responded to the Walgreens on East Main Street for a report of a shoplifting. Responding officers discovered that an unknown white female, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses, removed over $650.00 in cosmetic goods from the store, according to police.

Officials said employees stated that the entire time the suspect was in the store, she did not remove her hood or sunglasses. The stolen items consisted of 27 individual facial creams.
