Bear – At 2:49 this afternoon rescue crews from the Delaware City fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics, New Castle County Police and Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) responded to the 200 block of Cocoa Cay Lane for reports of a ATV accident.
Upon arrival, crews found a male with injuries suffered in the accident. As the helicopter arrived on scene, command advised Trooper 4 to land in a yard near the Antrim neighborhood.
The patient was transported to the trauma center via Trooper 4 with undetermined injuries.

Correction: An earlier report that a teen was injured is believed to be incorrect. The patient is believed to be 67 to 70-years-old.
