Crash Involving A School Bus Sends Two To Hospital, No Student Injuries

Newark –  Just after 9:00 this morning rescue crews from the Christiana Fire Company, along with New Castle County Police responded to Walther Road & Pierce Run for reports of motor vehicle accident involving a Christina School District bus.

Upon arrival, crews found two patients in need of medical care. Both patients were transported to Christiana Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

There were no students on board the bus at the time of the accident, according to Wendy Lapham, Christina School District’s Public Information Officer.
