Police: Thieves Drag ATM From Redner’s Grocery Store In Dover

The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at the Redner’s grocery store in the Greentree Shopping Center, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said the incident occurred at approximately 4:57 morning, on Friday, June 15th, when suspects forced entry into the business by prying open the front doors.

Once they were inside, they attached a chain to an ATM and dragged it out with a truck. The suspects then fled with the ATM, according to Hoffman. The suspects were wearing all black.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130.
