New Castle – Just after 9:30 this morning, Monday, October 15, 2018, Delaware River and Bay Authority Police (DRBA) responded to the New Castle County Airport for reports that a vehicle had crashed through the fence along Route 13.

Delaware State Police, DRBA Police, Airport Officials, and DelDOT crews are on scene, working what appeared to be an accident involving a landscaping truck and trailer. No injuries have been reported.

We are awaiting word from a DRBA Spokesman regarding the incident. It’s unclear if the breach is affecting flight operations at the airport.
