On Friday morning, November 4, at approximately 3:23, the Milford Police Department Patrol Division was dispatched to the 300 block of SE Second Street in reference to a physical altercation. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, who advised that the suspect, identified as William Baltazar Chavez, 29, of Milford, had allegedly broke a glass beer bottle over the victim’s head during a verbal altercation, according to Detective Timothy Maloney.

Maloney said the victim sustained injury due to this and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
