Video – One To Hospital After Car Slams Into Tree In Hockessin

Hockessin – Just before 11:00 this morning, rescue crews from the Hockessin and Cranston Heights Fire Companies respond to Loveville Road in the ara of Lancaster Pike for reports of a vehicle into a tree.

New Castle County Paramedics en route to another call came across the vehicle and reported that the driver was injured. While en route to the scene firefighters were told that the car had impacted the tree with high-velocity.

Trooper 4, originally dispatched to the scene, was recalled. The patient was transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Loveville Road was closed to traffic while crews worked to clear the scene.
