Man And Woman Shot Friday Night In Wilmington

Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that sent two people to the hospital Friday evening.

Authorities said that at approximately 8:12 pm, on Friday, December 28, Wilmington Police Officers, on a call in the 600 block of W. 7th Street, heard gunshots in the area.

The officers responded to the scene where they located a 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both patients were treated on scene and later transported to the hospital where they are listed in stable condition.
