Just In: New Castle Man Shot In Mid-January Has Succumbed To His Injuries

Wilmington Police have announced that a January 2019 shooting victim has died.

Officials said the 22-year-old Kellier Flamer, of New Castle, has succumbed to his injuries suffered in the January 15, 2019 shooting in Wilmington’s Hilltop neighborhood.

Flamer was a resident of the unit block of Constitution Boulevard in New Castle, police said

At 7:04 last evening, Tuesday, January 15, 2019, Wilmington Police responded to the 1200 block of Conrad Street, in the Hilltop neighborhood, for a shooting.

When they arrived, officers found a 22-year old man suffering from a gunshot wound., according to police. The man was treated on scene by medics before being transported to the hospital, where he is currently listed in critical condition.
