Rescue crews from the Mill Creek Fire Company along with the New Castle County Police have responded to the intersection of Limestone Road at Kirkwood Highway for a crash involving a motorcycle.
While en route to the scene crews were alerted that the patient was fighting with officers. Shortly after that information was dispatched crews learned
[ms-protect-content id=”35525,36371,36374,36464,36481″]that the scene was now under control and that they could respond in.
Upon arrival, crews requested a trauma alert and transported the patient to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital.
The southbound lanes of Route 7 are currently closed while police investigate the accident.
A second crash at the scene has caused the northbound lanes to be closed as well.
Two patients have been evaluated at the scene of the second accident. One of them was transported to the hospital.
