New Castle – Just before 8:00 this morning rescue crews responded to Route 13 and Schafer Blvd for reports of a pedestrian struck by a school bus.
Initial reports from the scene indicated that the woman was conscious but was banged up.
Subsequent reports from the scene indicate

that the woman was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in an accident.
After the crash, the woman reportedly got out of the car and laid in the road.
The woman has since been transported to the hospital.
Route 13 SB is currently closed.
