Happening Now: Rollover Crash, Person On Fire, Shots Fired

We are working three stories at the moment.

Crews have responded to Wiggins Mill Road in Townends for a rollover crash. Early reports indicate that everyone is out of the vehicle and uninjured.

Crews have also responded to North Kings Street and E 13th Street for reports of a person on fire in Wilmington. Update: Arriving crews reported that caller denied calling 911. There was a  second call later in the evening that claimed someone one else was fire.  It’s believed the caller may have been the same caller and they were suffering from a psychological issue.

A third incident is also underway in the Talleyville area. Troopers are searching for three black females that reportedly robbed a store and possibly ran over someone. It’s believed that a concealed carry permit holder that witnessed the incident fired shots at the suspects. This incident has been updated Troopers: Shoplifting Suspects Ram Concord Mall Security Vehicle, Shots Fired

Trooper 4, searching for the suspects in the Talleyville area, was diverted to the Townsend incident.

We are working to gather more information about all three incidents.
