Georgetown, DE-Georgetown Police have arrested a Laurel man as a result of an April 24th shooting investigation, according to Detective Joey Melvin.

Melvin said on April 24, 2019, Georgetown Police responded to the parking lot of County Seats Apartments for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, Georgetown Police learned that a male victim had sustained a gunshot wound to the foot and was subsequently transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect had fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.
