New Castle – Just after 3:00 this afternoon rescue crews from Delaware City, Port Penn, and Christiana Fire Companies along with New Castle County Medics and Delaware State Police responded to South Dupont Highway at Red Lion Road for a vehicle accident with multiple injuries reported.
Upon their arrival crews requested a total of four ambulances. At least one patient was trapped for approximately 15 minutes while crews worked to extricate them.
It’s believed that four patients were transported to Christiana Hospital.
