Happening Now: Smyrna High School Evacuated Due To Small Fire

Smyrna – At 10:56 this morning firefighters from the Citizens Hose Company of Smyrna have responded to Smyrna High School at 500 Duck Creek Parkway for reports of a structure fire.

While en route crews learned that a Smyrna Police Officer was on scene reporting a fire in a bathroom at the school.

First arriving crews have now reported that the school has been evacuated and that the fire has been knocked down.

Deputies with the State Fire Marshal’s Office are en route to the scene.

No injuries have been reported.
