Wilmington Teen Dies After Being Shot Multiple Times Monday



Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 8:05 p.m. in the 2500 block of Thatcher Street.

Police located a 19-year-old male gunshot victim who was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Wilmington – At 8:11 Monday evening Wilmington Police and Fire along with medics responded to the 2500 block of Thatcher Street for reports of a shooting.

First arriving crews reported that one patient was in very serious condition.

Early reports from the scene indicate that one patient has been shot multiple times and was transported to the Trauma Center at an area hospital.
