Police Identify Victim Gunned Down In Wilmington

Wilmington Police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on Tuesday afternoon.

At approximately 4:05 p.m. officers responded to the 100 block of East 24th Street where they located 29-year-old Jaron Smullen who had sustained multiple gunshot victim wounds.

Smullen, who was transported to the hospital in critical condition, later succumbed to his injuries.
