Troopers: Woman Attacked, Robbed By Two Men In Georgetown

Harrington- The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred yesterday afternoon, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.

Jaffe said the incident occurred on December 11, 2019, at approximately 3:20 p.m., when a 41-year-old female victim was walking on Donovans Road in the area of N. Bedford Street in Harrington, and approached by two unknown males.

The male suspects struck the victim with an unknown object causing her to fall to the ground. The suspects then took the victim’s purse that she was carrying and proceeded to flee the area on foot, said Jaffe. The victim sustained minor injury and was treated and released from the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.

The suspects were described as black males wearing all dark-colored clothing.
