Governor Printz Blvd. Closed Due To Serious Crash Involving A Tractor-Trailer

Claymont – The Delaware State Police are currently on scene of a serious motor vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer that occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. this morning.

As a result of the crash, southbound Governor Printz Blvd. is closed in the area of Fairfield Road, according to a police statement.

Initial reports from the scene indicate that a utility pole was struck and at least one person was seriously injured.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes of travel.
